Do you love meeting new people from all over the world? Then this might be the job for you! We’re looking for a sociable person in all kinds of different positions depending where your talents are.

If you’re a true extrovert at heart, you might like the position at reception and general hostel maintenence, giving advice to people where to go for their next adventure, eat and party. For the people with green thumbs, the the development of our permaculture garden, but if you like web- and graphic design more, that’s perfect as well. 

These could be some of the tasks you would do:

  • Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.
  • Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
  • Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
  • Web development: Build/improve our current website.
  • Animal care: Help take care of our dogs and cats.
  • Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
  • Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

But what do you get in return?

For 25 hours of work per week, you get:

1 day off per week

A bed in a shared dorm room with your collegues

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. 

Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use of our equipped kitchen. 

A certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

I had a great experience in Hostel Hasta La Vista, it was low season so there were not many guests. I stayed for 1 month and help with the construction of the bar downstairs. Saranda is really calm in low season and the prices are really cheap. Definitely recommended.

Spend a good time here, a very quiet place, I had the opportunity to meet great people, to get to know the surroundings of the city, the hostel is beautiful and with a lot of space! You will always have plenty of time for your own activities.
